Field Service

Joton maintains a well trained and highly motivated team of field service engineers ready to support you in your emergency service need, as well as with preventable and predictive maintenance programmes.

We service most types of SCR and VFD drives, particularly Hill Graham and Ross Hill type systems. As well as initial start up and commissioning, our engineers are available to give your system a complete health check during rig moves or re-powers.

Maintenance Contracts

Joton are pleased to be able to offer maintenance contracts to our customers, with guaranteed access to telephone, email and practical support. Contracted customers enjoy priority support and discounts on services such as service visits, spares and repairs.

Our maintenance programmes begin with complete system appraisals, including documentation and spares audits, followed by regular planned maintenance visits. For customers with systems from a common manufacturer, we can help cut spares costs by maintaining a central spares inventory.

Repair and Calibration

Today Joton has the technical expertise and equipment to repair and re-calibrate the complete range of Ross Hill and Hill Graham type control modules and printed circuit boards (PCBs).

From our UK-based test facility, we can guarantee a fast turnaround.

We are especially skilled in re-engineering obsolete components to help maintain your return on investment, and keep legacy equipment serviceable.

Re-engineered Solutions

Many Ross Hill and Hill Graham systems remain serviceable even though parts have become obsolete or unrepairable. Joton are able to provide alternative solutions by identifying and sourcing equivalents, or by providing complete re-engineered products.

We have designed our own digital version of Ross Hill's AutoSync AC generator control module, which is not available from any other supplier anywhere else in the world. The Joton AutoSync module is fully digital and benefits from modern advances in manufacturing and control technologies.

The result of this is that ships and rigs which depend on these parts have a new lease of life - an incredible saving on the alternative solution, i.e. scrapping the existing generator control sections and completely re-fitting!
